Gartner’s official definition of cloud computing is “A style of computing where scalable and elastic IT enabled capabilities are delivered as a service to customers using Internet technologies.” To us that means - the ability to access computing resources, as and when you need them, while having the ability to scale them up and down. Using and paying only for what you require.

Fluccs Cloud Usage Models
Fluccs Elastic provides four primary usage models for the Cloud:

• Monthly – ideal for those with consistent or growing resource requirements. Design a Cloud Server with the resources that meet your specific needs. You select the CPU, RAM, Storage and Bandwidth you require. Billing is monthly, in advance, allowing you to take advantage of a 25% discount on the computing resources.

• Pay As You Go (PAYG) - Our PAYG model is Cloud computing in its’ purest form. Instantly and On Demand. Create your own servers, as and when you need them, by specifying CPU, RAM and Disk space. Scale resources up and down instantly. Create as many VMs as you like. Destroy VMs when you are done. Pay only for resources allocated to your virtual machines. Ideal for those who have sporadic requirements such as testing, special projects, campaigns, fluctuating usage patterns, or are looking for a Virtual Private Cloud of their own.

• Hybrid Cloud – Your own dedicated hardware for your VMs, while leveraging the redundancy and scaleability of the Cloud. A dedicated server is set up and attached to the cloud but only you have the ability to create virtual machines on it, while utilising the storage redundancy of our SAS SAN infrastructure.
  
  If your dedicated hardware fails for any reason your VMs are automatically migrated to the cloud. Once your hardware is back online you live migrate your VMs back to your hardware. Should any of your VMs ever require resources greater than your hardware can provide, you can live migrate it to the cloud temporarily, to utilise the power of the Cloud, then live migrate it back after, paying only for what you use.

• Private Cloud – Your own 100% private Cloud, utilising hardware for your exclusive use, but leveraging our fully featured Cloud technology. With the option of being able to link to the Public Cloud for bursting when required.
